Seven players from Palm Beach County were named as first team selections to the Class 8A-7A All-State high school football teams released on Saturday.

First team picks on Class 8A were defensive lineman Kyle Shortridge and defensive back Omar Pierre-Louis from Seminole Ridge, defensive back Marques Gayot of Park Vista and offensive lineman Kc McDermott of Palm Beach Central.

The first-team selections in 7A were offensive lineman James Looney of Lake Worth, defensive lineman Mark Kelly of Dwyer and defensive back Brisly Estime of Atlantic.

The Florida Class 7A and 8A All-State Team as chosen by newspaper editors and reporters.
