Such a pity more people did turn up to see this MMA flick, about two long-separated brothers who are on a path to reunite in the ring, as their returning alcoholic father watches ringside. It features three outstanding performances from Nick Nolte, Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton. Is it somewhat easy to predict where it's heading? Sure. But everything is so well done, including the incredibly in-fight cinematography. Dare I say I got a little weepy during the conclusion of this movie? I can't wait to see it again. |
