Highlights

The Enzian Theater is Central Florida's premier art-house cinema, catering to fans of independent, foreign language and classic films. A non-profit cinema-pub, it was founded by the family of Orlando philanthropist John Tiedtke and named after an Alpine flower by his daughter, Tina, who opened The Enzian at 1300 S. Orlando Ave. in Maitland on Feb. 15, 1985. The Tiedtkes have remained a force in running the theater.
