  1. Like/dislike: Arielle Goodman

When Arielle Goodman was a child, she woke up every morning to the sounds of her mother's opera music floating through the house. Now, the 24-year old Chicago native and self-proclaimed Baltimore vagabond is making her own name as a performer. She has been known to take the Amtrak at 5:30 a.m. in order to get to New York City by 9 and audition for the next big musical. Such efforts have paid off — she has landed quirky roles such as Anne from the original sci-fi rock opera “When E.T. Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” Her most recent adventure has been playing the part of Anna Bella, a 10-year-old with a feisty personality, in the Strand Theater’s production of “Anne Bella Eama.” Goodman is ready to make a big splash in the world of theater, but here she takes a moment to talk to b about Mexican music, spandex and more of her eclectic passions.

Here, we talk with some of TV's top sitcom (and one dramedy) heads about those first-show birthing pains and learn just what they were up to the night baby took its first steps on the airwaves.
