  1. 'Terra Nova' recap: The finale

It's the finale “Occupation/Resistance” -- in which this blogger finally realizes: Lucas is reprehensibly despicable.

  5. 'Top Chef: Texas' recap: 'Higher Steaks'

As the men point out at the beginning of the episode, "Top Chef: Texas" is looking like a female-dominated season. "Top Chef" is in its ninth season and there has only been one female winner, Stephanie from Season 4.
As the men point out at the beginning of the episode, "Top Chef: Texas" is looking like a female-dominated season. "Top Chef" is in its ninth season and there has only been one female winner, Stephanie from Season 4. I'm not a crazy feminist. I like...

  7. 'Terra Nova' recap: Episode 3, 'What Remains'

Well, I got off to a late start this week, thanks to the American League game between the Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers, which stretched well into four hours and 11 innings, pushing the start of “Terra Nova” back by 50 minutes. (By the way, the final score was 7-3. The game ended with a walk-off grand slam from Nelson Cruz, which pulled the Rangers ahead in the series 2-0.)

  9. 'Terra Nova' recap: Episode 2

The second week of Fox’s "Terra Nova" took a page from Alfred Hitchcock's book, with our band of time-travelling settlers under attack from swarms of reptilian-like birds of prey in a refreshing, quick-paced hour Monday night.

  11. 'Terra Nova' recap: Episode 4, 'The Runaway'

I'm putting a call into IKEA first thing tomorrow morning to pitch a new line of furniture — the DinoSaϋr — modeled after the classy desk gracing Commander Taylor's office: a T. Rex skull holding up a sheet of glass. Functional, utilitarian and super-chic.

“Bylaw” – Dino-Murder, She Wrote. After a blessed reprieve thanks to the World Series, Fox’s “Terra Nova” returned in full pre-historical force Monday night, with a new record: barely a minute into the hour before some...

Oh, my God. This episode was really, really good. Things got a little too prehistoric this week on Fox's "Terra Nova," with a meteor strike and resulting sonic wave knocking out all power for the settlement. But here's some CrazySexyMath for you: Take...

  17. 'Terra Nova' recap: Episode 7, Proof

Man, "Terra Nova" was all over the place this week. Last week's episode, and the aftermath, were reminiscent of a misleading second date: You think things are worthwhile, taking a turn for the better, only to be reminded there’s a reason you’re single come date three: The person sitting next to you (or show airing in front of you) just clearly does not have their crap together.

  19. 'Terra Nova' recap: Episode 8, 'Vs.'

Another relatively solid episode of Fox’s “Terra Nova” this week — the good episodes always seem to illicit emotions of both triumph and disappointment as I realize, “Darn, this show is really worth a crap.”

There are three points that need to be taken away from this week’s episode of “Terra Nova.” One: Like Tolstoy wrote, “Every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way,” and I counted no fewer than three unhappy/messed-up...
