Estimates board approves computers, furniture for sheriff's precinct

Computer software and furniture were among the items the county was given the OK to buy for the new Harford County Sheriff's Office southern precinct. Several contracts for equipment and supplies for the new precinct, under construction at 1305 Pulaski Highway in Joppa, were among those awarded at the Harford County Board of Estimates meeting Thursday morning. The board awarded $118,528.61 to Eplus Technology Inc. for 85 desktop computers, monitors, speaker bars and antivirus software, according to Capt.
