    In the wake of the <a href="http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tv/veronica-mars/EP00678844">"Veronica Mars"</a> Kickstarter campaign, which <a href="http://blog.zap2it.com/pop2it/2013/04/veronica-mars-movie-kickstarter-ends-how-much-money-did-it-end-up-making.html">raised over $5 million</a> from fans to finally get a movie made, actor/writer/director <a href="http://people.zap2it.com/p/zach-braff/170376">Zach Braff</a> saw an opportunity to make a follow-up to his directorial debut, "Garden State. "Wish I Was Here" was written by Zach and his brother, Adam Braff, and tells the story of a "struggling actor, father and husband." The character decides to home school the two young children of his sick father, doing away with the assigned curriculum for one of his own.
