As the fall campaign season opens, Republican Anne Arundel County executive hopeful Steve Schuh has three times as much money as his Democratic rival, George Johnson, according to campaign finance reports filed this week. Schuh, a state delegate from Gibson Island, has $225,321 in cash available to spend, compared to $72,348 for Johnson, a former county sheriff from Pasadena. Schuh and Johnson are among the Maryland candidates who filed reports Tuesday detailing their fundraising and spending from June 9 through Aug. 19.
