Two recent city deaths classified as homicides

A man who died of a seizure as a result of a 1999 shooting and a man found dead in a vacant home in August were added to the city's homicide count, while three men have been charged in previous city killings, according to police and court records. Police said Earl Brown, 36, was being transported in a vehicle on Oct. 7 when he suffered a seizure and later died. Brown had been shot in the head on Sept. 23, 1999, in the 2200 block of Callow Ave. in Reservoir Hill, and developed a seizure disorder.
