In April, Washington's 9:30 Club — one of the most celebrated music venues in the country — will bring its take on a modern music variety show to public television for "Live at 9:30," the venue announced in a release.
The first season, to be broadcast on PBS and online, will consist of 12 one-hour episodes. Each show will include performances, interviews, short films and comedy bits, the release said.
Performers will include Garbage, The Arcs, Tove Lo, Ibeyi, El Vy, MisterWives, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Frank Turner, MS MR, Cold War Kids, Youth Lagoon and Jess Glynne.
