Ringo Starr is performing at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond. That information alone should have you immediately saying, "I'm in!" Maybe 40 years ago. But now, you may be thinking, "Well, I gotta go because Starr is part of one of the biggest musical legacies of all time, and it would just be wrong to miss his show." Or: "Am I wrong for not feeling any loyalty to Starr for his role in music history?" All we know is that Starr and his 13th All Starr Band ¿ Richard Page, Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera, Gregg Bissonette and new members Steve Lukather (Toto) and Gregg Rolie (Santana, Journey) ¿ will be jamming out the classics.
Why go: It's freakin' Ringo Starr of the Beatles, duh.
Reconsider: Starr without the rest of the Beatles is like a PB&J with Nutella.
7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Horseshoe Casino, 777 Casino Center Drive, Hammond; $45-$130; 800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com
