My husband Tom retired on Sept. 1, and we immediately left for a celebratory trip to Maine. One thing that struck me is that just about every small town we visited had a Main Street. So, of course, I was doing some comparing to our own incomparable Main Street, and you know what? We came out very well. Our shops are unique, our buildings well-maintained and of course we have something the other guys just can't have — the oldest train terminal in the country. That alone lifts us out of the masses and puts us on top.
