Mickey Rourke

Highlights
Mickey Rourke

Mickey Rourke started out with a promising acting career with memorable roles in "Diner," "Body Heat," and "Nine 1/2 Weeks." As time went on, Rourke earned a reputation as a difficult star, and the roles started to dry up. The comeback story of 2008 was Rourke's portrayal of washed-up Randy 'The Ram' Robinson in "The Wrestler," in which he earned an Oscar nomination and won a Golden Globe. Rourke is also known for his love of his dogs (he thanked them during his Globes acceptance speech) and his boxing prowess.  Show more »

  5. 'The Wrestler' well worth seeing, but not for squeamish

    Watchdog
