North Laurel/Savage: Spanish students at Reservoir High pitch in to help Nicaragua

Reservoir High School's Spanish National Society decided to help make a difference. It raised over $1,600 for the Pulsera Project, which helps educate and employ the homeless in Nicaragua. Nicaraguan artists crafted bracelets, which they sold and then sent the money back to the project. The project founder was so thankful for their effort. Looking for fun for your family? Why not go to Saturday Night at the Movies at the North Laurel Community Center. The movie will be "Kung Fu Panda" on Jan. 19 starting at 6 p.m. The cost is $2 for members and $4 nonmembers.
