2. Word of Mouth: 'Zookeeper' may have been caged too long

A little more than a year ago, the makers of "Zookeeper" took the Kevin James comedy to the AMC Ontario Mills 30 multiplex for a test screening. The talking-animals film had been scheduled to be released in October 2010, but the Sony Pictures brass were so electrified by the audience feedback — the marks from kids were so good that one executive thought that the data must be wrong and needed to be recalculated — that the studio decided to move "Zookeeper" into the heart of this summer's box-office battle.

4. Celebrity Scoop: Wendi McLendon-Covey

Zap2It
When Wendi McLendon-Covey was hired to play Liz, the annoying neighbor on CBS' "Rules of Engagement," the improv-ready actress didn't have to look far for inspiration. "I actually know someone who has a lot of these traits, except that she is not a tap-...

6. Cowboys & Aliens

I had the same feeling watching the first 15 minutes of this movie as I did with Inglourious Basterds. I wished Quentin Tarantino had just made a straight war picture. In this, I was thinking director Jon Favreau should’ve just done a straight western and left the aliens out.

A circus provides the setting for this slow-paced but well-acted adaptation of Sara Gruen's best-seller, casting "Twilight" fan favorite Robert Pattinson as a Depression-era veterinary student who goes AWOL after his parents die.

10. Savage Love: Test Drives

I'm an evangelical Christian in a country where that is not a political statement. My husband and I have been married five years. We have great sex several times a week despite having two kids under age 2. We get along so well that even a couple of my atheist friends have admitted they want what we have. What most of them don't know is that we waited until after the wedding to have sex — or even kiss.
