Halloween is coming to the historic district in a big way this year. Festivities start this weekend, and it seems like the whole town is prepared to be scared.
They are busing people in for the start of the "HallowRead" book convention on Friday, Oct. 25. This event is for authors and fans of Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, SteamPunk and Horror genres.
Activities will be going on Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday morning. These include book signings and meet and greets at Tourism, Tea on the Tiber, the Trolley Stop, Cacao Lane, the Diamondback Tavern and the Historical Society Museum.
