A half-century of John Waters invades New York

John Waters' ongoing conquest of the arts world continues in New York this month, with a film retrospective at Lincoln Center titled -- and some may appreciate this title more than others -- "Fifty Years of John Waters: How Much Can You Take?" The retrospective, running through Sept. 14, includes 12 of Waters' feature films, from 1969's "Mondo Trasho" to 2004's "A Dirty Shame."
