    <span style="font-size: small;">The HBO miniseries <em>Mildred Pierce</em> leads all nominees for the 63<sup>rd</sup> Annual Emmy Awards Nominations &ndash; the five-part production, starring <strong>Kate Winslet</strong>, received a whopping 21 in total.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;The most nominated series is <em>Mad Men,</em> with 19, followed by freshman drama <em>Boardwalk Empire</em>, with 18. &nbsp;The nominations were announced Thursday morning at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theater in North Hollywood by <em>Fringe</em> star <strong>Joshua Jackson</strong> and <em>Mike &amp; Molly</em> and <em>Bridesmaids</em> star <strong>Melissa McCarthy</strong>, who received her first Emmy nod for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.&nbsp; The Emmys will air September 18 and will be hosted by <em>Glee </em>star <strong>Jane Lynch</strong>, who also received a nomination. </span>
