  5. 'Abstractions': Evoking galleries of private images

You need to use your imagination as much as your eyes when viewing the three-artist exhibit "Seeing Differently: Abstractions" at the Bernice Kish Gallery at Slayton House. Although these artists provide the occasional figurative reference, they mostly rely on colorful abstract forms to prompt you to see things in the mind's eye.

  15. Feedback: What is the best biography you have ever read?

One of the best biographies I have ever read was "Another Man's War: The True Story of One Man's Battle to Save Children in the <a class="runtimeTopic" href="#">Sudan</a>,<strong>"</strong> by Sam Childers, aka the machine gun preacher. It painted the image of Childers fighting for orphans in Sudan, and also gave lots of background on his life before he started this mission. I highly recommend it.

  17. Dark Shadows

In my opinion, Tim Burton is the worst director making money in Hollywood. And it&rsquo;s not like things are going to change. He likes to remake stuff, and he puts Johnny Depp in it. This means the films make millions and millions. Why would anything change?
