Sarah L. Howard, a former social club membership secretary who had lived in Baltimore, died June 18 of heart failure at her home in Greenville, S.C.
She was 52.
Sarah Little Howard was born in Baltimore and raised in Cockeysville and Towson. She was a 1976 graduate of Dulaney High School. She was also a graduate of Towson Stratford Business College.
In 1970, she was the recipient of a scholarship to study classical piano at Peabody Institute Preparatory School of Music.
Ms. Howard worked as a secretary and a bank teller in Baltimore before moving in 1989 to Vero Beach, Fla., when she took a job as membership secretary at John's Island Club.
