  1. Leary Firefighters Foundation Fundraiser March 15 at Anna Liffey's

    Raise a glass and support the New Haven Regional Fire Academy at the same time this Friday. Anna Liffey&rsquo;s is hosting a fundraiser for the <a href="http://www.learyfirefighters.org/" target="_blank">Leary Firefighters Foundation</a>, which will benefit our local fire academy and, of course, our local firefighters. Actor Denis Leary started the charity after a fire took the lives of his cousin, a childhood friend, and four other firefighters in Worcester, Mass. The foundation&rsquo;s main mission is to make sure fire departments have the best training and equipment, to keep the firefighters safe while they keep us safe. If you can&rsquo;t make Friday night&rsquo;s festivities, you can text &ldquo;Guinness&rdquo; to 878787 to donate. Guinness sponsors Leary&rsquo;s charity nationally.
