Dale W. Sehnert, former head of dance in the preparatory department of Peabody Institute who also served on the faculty of Boys' Latin School, died March 29 of congestive heart failure at the Pickersgill Retirement Community in West Towson.
He was 91.
"He was a contemporary dance instructor at Peabody for a generation or more. He was a protege of Martha Graham and one of the most well-known teachers on the East Coast," said Gavin Farrell, executive director of the Peabody Institute's Preparatory Division.
