AVAM's Flicks From the Hill 2016 lineup announced

The 2016 lineup for Flicks From the Hill, the summer program outside the American Visionary Art Museum that lets people watch movies from the outdoor comfort of Federal Hill, begins July 7 with John Hughes’ seminal playing-hooky-from-school film, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

The 1986 film stars Matthew Broderick and Mia Sara.

Other films in the series are Christopher Guest’s dog-show comedy, 2000’s “Best In Show” (July 14), the 1960 classic “To Kill a Mockingbird” (July 21), 1984’s root-for-the-underdog fave “The Karate Kid” (July 28), 2015 box-office champ “Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens” (Aug. 4), Oscar-winner Roberto Benigni in 1997’s “Life Is Beautiful”...
