"Better Call Saul," the "Breaking Bad" prequel from Vince Gilligan, set a cable record Sunday debuting with 6.4 million viewers and 4.4 million in the 18 to 49 demographic.
It was the largest series premiere in cable history, according to the channel.
It was a great night overall for AMC with "The Walking Dead," which returned for the second half of its fifth season, drawing an audience of 15.6 million viewers. The 18 to 49 demographic for the series came in at 10.1 million.
A second episode of "Better Call Saul," which stars Bob Odenkirk as a young lawyer on the make, premieres at 10 tonight.
