On Monday's season premiere of the NBC singing competition show, Treeva Gibson, a 16-year-old Frederick native, rocked it with an astonishingly powerful rendition of Lana Del Ray's "Young and Beautiful" and was put through to the next round of 48 contestants. After her performance, Gibson, whose parents are both deaf, picked her celebrity coach by using sign language to spell "Christina," indicating Christina Aguilera.
