Scoop Kelly remembered with first 5K race in his honor

Four Harford runners captured age-group wins Sunday in the race within the Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley. The 22nd annual Komen Maryland event drew about 15,000 runners and walkers. About 1,250 of them raced in the timed 5K run. Janet McAdorey, 55, of Bel Air, won her age group for the third time, finishing first in 55-59 in 24:32. She placed second in the survivors' race, which she had won twice previously. Three runners from Fallston also won age-group awards. Samantha Sankovich took first in 25-29 in 22:50.
