Prince George's superintendent search narrows to 3 finalists

The Prince George's County Board of Education has narrowed its search for the school system's next superintendent to three candidates, and the finalists include the county's current interim superintendent. The finalists are Eric Becoats, superintendent of schools for Durham Public Schools in North Carolina; Harrison Peters, chief of schools for Chicago Public Schools; and Alvin Crawley, who has served as interim superintendent in Prince George's County since William Hite left the post last fall.
