Lewis: Will work with Chicago leaders for school funding

The head of the Chicago Teachers Union says she is looking forward to working with Chicago Public Schools officials to obtain state funding to close a hole in the district's finances.

Schools CEO Forest Claypool says he's confident the governor and Illinois lawmakers will come through with the millions of dollars the district needs. However, in a speech Wednesday to the City Club of Chicago union president Karen Lewis says she is skeptical. She said she is not confident about anything she cannot see.
