Gov. Larry Hogan has announced his three choices to fill out Harford County's nine-member Board of Education.
Laura Runyeon, of Kingsville; Alfred Williamson, of White Hall; and Joseph Hau, of Jarrettsville, will fill three seats on the school board, and their terms will begin July 1, Shareese Churchill, Hogan's press secretary, confirmed Monday. The terms for the unpaid positions are four years.
The remaining six seats on the board are filled by members who were elected in 2014. The full hybrid board will be seated at the July 20 board meeting, an HCPS spokesperson said.
The current board is holding its final meeting Monday night.
