New president chosen for Frostburg State University

The University System of Maryland has tapped an administrator who started new degree programs at a Pennsylvania university as the next president at Frostburg State University.

Ronald Nowaczyk, 64, has been provost and vice president for academic affairs at public Clarion University in western Pennsylvania since 2011. He is to succeed Jonathan Gibralter, who left Frostburg in June 2015 to become the president of Wells College in New York.
