JetBlue Airways Corp. is a commercial airline based in Forest Hills, N.Y. It is a low-cost carrier that operates more than 500 flights a day to more than 50 cities, with its main hub at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.

JetBlue operates a fleet of more than 130 jets, all of which are Airbus A320 or Embraer 190s. It made more than $2.3 billion in gross revenue in 2006. The company was founded in 1998 and began flying in 2000. Its chairman is David Neelman and its chief executive officer is Dave Barger. JetBlue is a publicly held company and trades on the Nasdaq stock market under the ticker symbol JBLU.
