  17. Office Manager bilks Lebanon County employer out of $58,000

    Earlier this year, Liberty Consulting,  65 Main Street, Quentin, discovered something fishy in their books and traced it to their office manager. They contacted police to report the irregularities. In all, police say Marcia Ann Kreiser, 61, of 920 North Front Street, Wormleysburg, stole $58,979.64 from her employer. She surrendered herself to police Tuesday night and faces 75 counts of access device fraud, 72 counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds, and three counts of forgery. She is currently in Lebanon County Prison on $9,900 bail.

    Police hope release of surveillance photos lead to arrests in the armed robbery of a York County convenience store.  It happened shortly before 3 o'clock Thursday morning at the A-Plus Sunoco store on the 1300 block of Mt. Rose Avenue in Spring Garden Township.  Two men armed with a handgun stole money from the cash register and cartons of cigarettes. No one was injured.
