Eugene Grace was a former president of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for nearly 30 years and was involved with the company for over 40 years. Grace, born in Cape May, New Jersey, attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Lehigh and Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Considered Lehigh's best baseball player at the time, he declined a contract to play Major League Baseball (MLB) to work at Bethlehem Steel. He was also later a member of the board of trustees at Lehigh.
