  3. Oladipo's 360 dunk emblematic of Indiana turnaround

No image from Indiana's 80-64 win over Illinois on Friday at the United Center projected a college basketball program that has come full circle better than Victor Oladipo's 360-degree dunk.

  5. Rosenthal: This is the way to exit the stage right

Whatever you thought of Andrew Mason's high-wire act as chief executive of Groupon, you have to concede he nailed the landing. Fired from the company he conceived and co-founded less than five years ago, Mason on Thursday tweeted a link to a goodbye memo...

  7. Shareholders get another chance

It's "proxy season" again for most public companies — called that because most shareholders submit their votes via proxy rather than attend the companies' annual meetings in person. This year's season represents a critical juncture in public company corporate governance because of the 2012 season, which earned the moniker "Shareholder Spring" in some circles. The reference was to the dramatic "Arab Spring" across the Middle East, which was marked by wide-scale protests seeking reform within autocratic governments.

  11. Front page business, Chicago style

If you read front page stories about Groupon, the city's Wrigley Field negotiations between neighbors and the Chicago Cubs, or the prolonged effects of the recession, chances are you've read the work of business reporter Ameet Sachdev. He spoke with Trib Nation:

  13. Groupon CEO's Resignation Letter Goes Viral

Groupon CEO Andrew Mason was terminated on Thursday of last week, which isn&rsquo;t a huge shock considering the company&rsquo;s declining value. What <em>is</em> interesting is Mason&rsquo;s goodbye letter to the company. In a world of publicists and generic corporate statements, Mason&rsquo;s letter stands out as surprisingly straightforward, honest and funny. He even stole one of my greatest ideas. Since I entered the business world I&rsquo;ve always wanted to resign in two different ways. One, by citing &ldquo;creative differences,&rdquo; and two, by declaring that I would spend no additional time with my family. Here&rsquo;s Mason&rsquo;s full letter (<a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/on-leadership/fired-groupon-ceos-refreshingly-blunt-memo-to-employees/2013/02/28/a5c9f584-820a-11e2-b99e-6baf4ebe42df_story.html" target="_blank">via the Washington Post</a>):

  15. Andrew Mason's departure note

In your Saturday editorial, "Groupon's Mason sets the standard for farewell letters" (March 2), your editors were impressed with departing CEO Andrew Mason's way with words. I disagree with that assessment. Mason's immaturity shows in his choice of...

  17. CTA making trims to bus service

Every few months, about the time the seasons change, the CTA shifts its bus and train schedules to meet changes in ridership demands. As it gets warmer, the agency typically adds more service, in part, because of increased tourism and the baseball season.

The Fitness Center - Orlando Sentinel
I love when I get in an unexpected workout. I recently took a horseback riding lesson. A friend and I had been wanting to go on a trail ride, but we found a Groupon for three one-hour riding lessons that cost about the same. It wasn’t just the fun...
