the ferry Pocahontas
(December 19, 2012)
The Virginia Department of Transportation says the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry returned to full capacity at 2:30 p.m. today.
The ferry Pocahontas was removed from service Tuesday due to an unexpected mechanical issue. VDOT had projected a Thursday return to service.
The Pocahontas is now back into regular rotation with the ferry Williamsburg, according to a VDOT statement.
