126: Blake Hohman, New Kent, sophomore. AA state semifinalist and fourth at states, he went 42-13 and won the Bay Rivers and Region I titles.

132: Corey Todd, New Kent, senior. The area's best in a tough division, Todd went 48-6 to increase his career total to 164 wins. Won the district and regional titles, before finishing third in state AA.

138: B.C. LaPrade, New Kent, sophomore. After a 46-7 season and runs to the Bay Rivers and Region I titles, and a fourth place AA state finish, he merits watching in the future.

145: Bailey Hicks, Tabb, sophomore. Aggressive wrestler with a bright future, he went 47-6, won the Bay Rivers title, was second in Region I and fifth in state AA.

152: Brett Flora, New Kent, senior. Top dog, although barely, in the area's most stacked weight class. Flora, 38-9 overall, came closest to a state title, losing 3-2 to Turner Ashby's Luke Kiser in the AA final.

160: Declan Kingston, York, senior. Won 43 of 49 bouts, including the Bay Rivers championship final, then finished second in the Region I tournament.

170: Kody Farrington, Poquoson, senior. His solid season included a 36-12 record, Bay Rivers District and Region I titles and a AA state fifth-place finish.

182: Nick Kennedy, Smithfield, junior. Lost by two points to Trent Graham for the Bay Rivers title, Kennedy edged the Poquoson wrestler for the regional title and for seventh in the AA state meet.

195: Chuck Sharon, Smithfield, senior. Went 4-0 in the Virginia Duals although the Packers faced several nationally ranked teams in the event.

220: Wilson Gregory, New Kent, junior. The Bay Rivers champion and Region I runnerup went 18-5 and finished in the top eight in the AA state tournament.

Hwt: Jacob Rose, Tabb, senior. A 33-3 record included a pin to win the Region I tournament and a fourth place finish in the AA state tourney.
