A public hearing is being held on Wednesday to comment on a proposed project by the Virginia Department of Transportation to coordinate and upgrade traffic signals on Route 17 in Gloucester.
The public hearing is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Watermen's Hall at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, said a VDOT spokeswoman. There will be no formal presentation at the hearing.
Comments may also be submitted through May 12. Comments can be sent by email to Rene Harris, VDOT project manager at Rene.Harris@vdot.virginia.gov. Reference "Route 17 Signal Coordination PH Comment" in the subject line.
Comments sent by mail must be postmarked by May 12 and addressed to: Mr. Rene Harris, Virginia Department of Transportation, Project Manager, 87 Deacon Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.
