Heritage (11-3, 3-0 Ironclad 18) at Nansemond River (14-1, 3-0). The Warriors are ranked No. 1 by Virginiapreps.com in Group 4A South, and the Hurricanes are right behind at No. 2. Heritage has won three consecutive games, two by six points or fewer. F Romello Anderson remains Mr. Steady at 17.5 ppg, and G Marcus Van Hook is averaging 15.8 ppg in his last five games. The Warriors have a talented lineup led by 6-4 guards Devon Oakley (19.3 ppg) and Scott Spencer (15.7 ppg). Advice: Get there early.

Phoebus (2-11, 1-2 Ironclad 18) at Lakeland (5-9, 0-3). The Phantoms are coming off 51-49 upset win at Kings Fork.

Hickory (1-16, 0-4 PenSouth 10) at Hampton (9-5, 1-0). G Cyonte Melvin (16.8 ppg) has been in double figures for 10 consecutive games.

GIRLS GAME OF THE WEEK:

Bethel (10-4, 2-2 Conference 2) at Western Branch (12-1, 4-0). After snapping an eight-game winning streak with back-to-back losses, Bethel bounced back with wins over Grassfield and Hickory. Britani Bryson (12.0 ppg) scored 22 in Tuesday’s win over Hickory. Western Branch's only loss came to King’s Fork by a point. G Alexis McKay is the Western's top scorer at 15.6 ppg.

Denbigh (2-15, 3-0 Ironclad 18) at King’s Fork (9-3, 2-0), 5:30 p.m. The Patriots put up a good fight against Nansemond River Tuesday in a nine-point loss.

Hickory (10-5, 0-1 PenSouth 10) at Hampton (12-3, 1-0), 5:30 p.m. F Niasia Caldwell scored a season-high 17 points in the Crabbers’ win over Menchville Tuesday.

Warwick (13-3, 1-0 PenSouth 10) at Gloucester (3-10, 0-0), 5:30 p.m. The Raiders’ Ylexzis Trager is averaging 16.8 ppg in her last five games.

Kecoughtan (7-6, 1-3 Conference 2) at Grassfield (4-12, 0-4). The Warriors’ have lost two in a row since Monday’s abrupt coaching change.

Nansemond River (4-8, 1-0) at Heritage (4-9, 2-1). The Hurricanes have won consecutive games for the first time this season.

Woodside (10-4, 3-1 Conference 2) at Oscar Smith (8-6, 2-2). The Wolverines are led by by Kemoni Earp’s 11.1 ppg.

Lakeland (1-13, 0-2) at Phoebus (7-7, 2-1). After winning three straight, the Phantoms have dropped their last three.
