GLOUCESTER — Saturday night’s “Symphony Under the Stars” featuring the Virginia Symphony orchestra led by conductor Maestro Benjamin Rous has been moved to the Gloucester High School auditorium due to inclement weather.
The free concert, presented by the Cook Foundation, begins at 8 p.m. and had been scheduled to be held outdoors on the lawn at the intersection of Main Street and Walter Reed Way. The concert will still begin at 8 p.m., said Jenny Crittenden, executive director of the Cook Foundation.
Crittenden said Main Street restaurants including Anna’s Pizza, Olivia’s in the Village, Bangkok Noi, Jessica’s on Main, Wild Ginger and Courthouse Restaurant will still offer 10 percent off of meals before the concert.
