As his aunt's sobs echoed through the courtroom, James Jose Ramirez was handcuffed and led away to begin serving a jail sentence for killing his 17-year-old cousin in a high-speed crash. "This was an accident," Linda Oquendo told Lehigh County Judge Maria L. Dantos at Ramirez's sentencing hearing Wednesday. "There is already enough pain he is going through."
