Two people were injured after a car and a box truck crashed, causing the truck to strike a vacant house on Hanover Pike in Upperco Thursday, Baltimore County police said. Police and fire crews were called shortly after 10 a.m. to Hanover Pike and near Emory Road. The truck was headed north and the car was traveling south on Hanover Pike, but it remains unclear what caused them to collide. Police said the 16-foor long truck then struck the side of the house, plowing about 15 feet into the home.
