Damaging winds and some isolated tornadoes are possible across the region Monday night as deadly storms move up from the southwest.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 11 p.m. across Central Maryland, including Carroll, Baltimore, Harford and Howard counties and Baltimore City.
Frequent lightning, hail as large as a quarter and scattered wind gusts up to 70 mph are possible, the National Weather Service cautioned.
