Wallace "Wally" Kirkpatrick, 83, of Boswell
Wallace "Wally" Kirkpatrick, 83, of Boswell, died Tuesday April 10, 2012. Son of the late William Crawford Kirkpatrick and Thora Elers Kirkpatrick. He attended Brown University. Wallace was a retired executive from Allegheny Ludlem Steel Corp and was one of the principal developers of Shadyside Village. Being an avid fisherman, he opened Trigger and Reel, a sporting gift store in Shadyside Village. Wallace was also affiliated with The Saddle Shop in Ligonier. Survived by his wife Nancy Stephens Kirkpatrick and sons John Wallace (Laurie) of Pittsburgh, Dr. William Hunter (Kimberly) of Villanova, Pa., and daughter Nancy Kirkpatrick Yale (Scott) of Columbia Conn., sister Ann Kirkpatrick Runnette (John) of Hilton Head S.C. Also survived by eight grandchildren, two nephews and one niece. A memorial service will be held at Somerset Anglican Fellowship 132 East Union St., Somerset Saturday April 28 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions can made to Somerset Anglican Fellowship or Needy Paws Rescue 128 Tulip Lane Somerset PA.
