The folks at the Middlecreek Church of the Brethren will look at Exodus 1:8-2:20 this week. The Rev. John Stoner will give the message “Savior of a Nation.” The Rev. Linda Stoner will lead the worship and also conduct Teen Church in the social hall.
Members are reminded of the Bible study/supper that will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the social hall. It will be “The Bread and the Broth” and will feature a “soup” of the week. It will be led by the Rev. Linda and will run through September.

The Solar Samaritans Men’s group will meet at 7:30 a.m. today at Kings restaurant for breakfast. Then tomorrow the Somerset First United Methodist Church features God is “Changing lives with a changeless message.”
Sunday school begins at 9:15 a.m. followed by the traditional worship service at 10:30 a.m. The sanctuary is air conditioned and handicapped accessible. Rev. Bill Blair, the Connellsville District Superintendent, is the guest preacher as they celebrate the 125th year of ministry in Somerset County. Bring a covered dish to share immediately following the church service in the fellowship hall.
