Provolone, cheddar, colby-jack, swiss, mozzarella, paramagnet, bleu, port wine, sharp cheddar, ricotta, farmers, munster, brie, these are some of the cheeses that we know but the list goes on.
Some are creamy, some are great for slicing, some are stringy, some are sweet and some are hot. Some are great for baking and making desserts, some are perfect for sauces, and just by themselves. When I thought of cheese it was one dimensional, but now I see how amazingly and deliciously versatile cheese is.

Have you ever thought about how many ways cheese is used? Well I have. Think of all the sandwiches that can be made cold, hot or with melted cheese; main dishes such as lasagna, baked ziti, stuffed shells, perogie, spaghetti with grated cheese, and that's not even the tip of the cheese-burg.
Soups with cheese — cheddar, bacon, broccoli and potato soup, my mouth is starting to water. Hot fondues made with cheese. Cheese balls served with crackers. You have appetizers like potato skins with bacon, melted cheddar cheese….Yum.
Then come the desserts. Of course the cheesecakes, then you have babkas, cheese danish, fudge made with cheese. Who knew that so many delicious foods could be made with cheese? Don't forget your healthy snack too, cheese on whole wheat crackers, or just cubes of cheese with fresh fruit
Sliced, melted, mixed in a salad, sprinkled or dipped, Cheese is a delicious and yummy way to eat healthy.
