The Nature Conservancy has announced five Connecticut finalists for the second annual Nature's Plate Contest, which honors sustainable, organic or farm-to-table restaurants in the country.
In the running: G-Zen in Branford, LeFarm in Westport, Seagrass Grill in Branford, Six Main in Chester and Zinc in New Haven. The restaurants have been recognized for their various "green" efforts, such as sourcing from local farms and reusing restaurant waste as compost.
Voting runs through Oct. 15 here. Voters are entered into a contest to win a $100 gift card from the winning restaurant.
