Former Wheaton North star Jake Schieber received a generous amount of playing time for Northwestern University's baseball team as a sophomore in 2014.
Schieber, a third baseman and outfielder, played in 37 games and made 23 starts for the Wildcats.
He hit .239 with 11 runs and eight RBI In 2013, he played in 29 games and started five and hit .235.
NU finished the season with a 19-33 mark.
