The following items were taken from police reports:
•A South Brainard Avenue caller reported Sunday that her neighbor accused her of putting garbage in his garbage can.
•A group of 75-100 children gathered outside Cossitt Avenue School at about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 18 was broken up and sent away.
•A driver crashed into Dino's Pizzeria and Fast Food, on South La Grange Road, shortly before noon Oct. 18.
•A white cat was reported near a fountain on South Sixth Avenue. The cat attempted to attack an officer, jumped out of the officer's arms and fled. It was last seen refusing to go near a fireman.
•A caller reported a suspicious older male in Spring Park at about 4 p.m. Oct. 15. He was determined to be eating and staying out of the rain.
•Two men, about 20 years old and wearing hoodies, approached an Oak Park woman from behind on the 200 block of North Oak Park Avenue at 7:10 p.m. Oct. 16, stole her tan Coach purse from her right hand and ran east. The purse was found behind that block.
•A 26-year-old Chicago man was charged Oct. 16 with two counts of theft that happened on the 100 block of North Taylor Avenue and 400 block of North Austin Boulevard.
•A 24-year-old man living on the 800 block of South Lombard Avenue was charged Oct. 15 with domestic battery.
•A Berwyn boy was charged Oct. 11 with theft from a Forest Park resident and unlawful possession of cannabis on the 700 block of Lake Street.
•A Chicago boy was arrested at 5 p.m. Oct. 12 on the 600 block of Garfield Street after he was found with an Oak Park woman's blue Townie Electra bicycle that had been stolen from her garage. He was arrested for theft and turned over to juvenile court before being released to his legal guardian.
•A 47-year-old man living on the 400 block of South Oak Park Avenue was charged Oct. 12 with a domestic battery of another Oak Park resident that happened Sept. 22.
•A 26-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 7:15 a.m. Oct. 11 on the 200 block of South Elmwood Avenue and charged with attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools.
•Someone activated the alarm after forcing in the rear basement door of a home on the 100 block of Clinton Avenue between 10:15 and 10:20 a.m. Oct. 16.
•Someone forced in the north-side door of a home on the 300 block of South Cuyler Avenue and ransacked rooms between 8:31 a.m. and 3:44 p.m. Oct. 15, causing $1,000 in damage.
•Two bicycles worth $400 — a red 26-inch man's Schwinn Mesa and blue 26-inch man's Raleigh — were stolen between 2 p.m. and midnight Oct. 12 from a garage on the 100 block of Washington Boulevard.
•Someone tried to enter a garage on the 700 block of South Taylor Avenue between 4 p.m. Oct. 11 and 9 a.m. Oct. 12 by prying the steel door jam and causing $50 damage.
•A gray Jamis Trail XR bicycle worth $250 was stolen between 7 p.m. Oct. 11 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 12 from an unlocked garage on the 300 block of North Scoville Avenue.
