Tinley Park

A cinder block was used to break a large window at a business on the 7400 block of Duvan Drive, from which a Dell laptop computer and an all-in-one computer were stolen on Nov. 9.

A 24-year-old Tinley Park woman was charged with DUI, improper lane use and making an improper turn during a Nov. 9 traffic stop at Harlem Avenue and 173rd Place on Nov. 9.

An 81-year-old Tinley Park woman was conned out of $1,705.55 by a man who called her home on Nov. 8, posing as her grandson.

A 32-year-old Chicago man and his 20-year-old nephew, also from Chicago, were charged with misdemeanor theft for stealing 10 plastic pallets and 250 soda pop crates from the load dock at Walt's Finer Foods, 16039 S. Harlem Ave. on Nov. 8.

A 29-year-old Tinley Park man whose blood-alcohol concentration was more than three times the legal limit was charged with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision and operating an uninsured motor vehicle during a Nov. 7 crash investigation on the 6600 block of 181st Street.

Catalytic converters were stolen from four vehicles parked at the 80th Avenue Metra Station on Nov. 7.

A 2000 Dodge Caravan was stolen from an apartment parking lot on the 5900 block of West Lake Bluff Drive on Nov. 6.

A 44-year-old Tinley Park man was charged with possession of a controlled substance during a Nov. 6 traffic stop at 191st Street and 80th Avenue.

A $110 satellite radio was stolen from an unlocked car on the 6600 block of Oak Forest Avenue on Nov. 5.

The tailgate was stolen from a white 2012 pickup truck parked on the 16600 block of 66th Avenue on Nov. 5.

A 57-year-old Summit man who stole six Gillette Fusion replacement razors blades selling for $113.94 from the Walt's Food Store, 16039 S. Harlem Avenue, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 5.

An unlocked vehicle on the 17500 block of Mulberry Avenue was entered, but nothing taken, on Nov. 4.

A 22-year-old Hazel Crest woman who stole merchandise valued at $138.96 from the Super Kmart, 16300 S. Harlem Ave. was charged with retail theft on Nov. 4.

An 18-year-old Palos Heights male was charged with battery after slapping a younger male acquaintance on the 8000 block of 160th Street on Nov. 4.

A 65-year-old Matteson man who stole clothing valued at $242.82 from the Super Target department store, 7300 W. 191st St., was charged with retail theft Nov. 3.

A 2014 Chevrolet Impala was stolen from a dealership on the 8500 block of 159th Street on Oct. 31.

New Lenox

A motor vehicle stolen from the 400 block of West Joliet Highway on Nov. 18 was recovered the same day at Nelson Road and Illinois Highway
