Florida Democrats abandoned too much of state in 2014, report says

A new task force report on what went wrong for the Florida Democratic Party in the 2014 elections suggests the party did not have not enough money to compete everywhere, causing it to write off too much of the state. Consequently, 2014 was a disastrous year for Florida Democrats, in the report's words, "an enormous setback" in which previous gains "were almost completely wiped out." Democrats lost almost all of the marquee races and quite a few lesser contests that they had won previously.
