This week many of the summer kids' movie series around Chicago are starting. These things can be a great way to kill a hot summer morning in air conditioned comfort for just a buck or two, and introduce little ones to the movie theater experience without the risk of ticking off adults who paid $9 to be there. They are often paired with snack deals -- in case you want your kids drinking pop and eating candy at 10 in the morning.
Here are the lists for the summer series I know about -- please let me know in the comments if you know about others in the Chicago area. Before that, I listed some of the park district free movie series.
